Khor-khog [Mongolia]

Khor-khog from Mongolia Ala Tekkadancs


Ingredients :
450 grams of mutton
450 grams of vegetables (carrots, onions, cabbage, potatoes) cut in large sizes
20 soft textured stone pieces
Carum carvi (a kind of spice)
Salt
pepper

Steps :
§    Heat the rock using a BBQ tool about 30 minutes;
§    After that place hot stones, meat and vegetables and seasonings in the pan. You can use pots or laminated containers;
§    Add 1-2 cups of water, cover the pan, then place on a roast over a medium-high BBQ tool. Serve warm.
