Sheer Khurma [Afghanistan]

Sheer Khurma from Afghanistan Ala Tekkadancs


Material :
2 tablespoons of butter
¼ cup pasta vermicelli (resembles spaghetti)
½ cup sugar
3 cups of milk
¼ cup of chopped dried fruits
2 tablespoons of raisins
Khurma to taste
1 teaspoon chirongi beans
½ teaspoon cardamom powder
2 tablespoons of rose water

Steps :
§    Heat the butter in a pan
§    Add the vermicelli paste and cook until it turns golden brown.
§    Then add sugar and milk. Cook the dough until the sugar is completely dissolved.
§    After that add dried fruit and raisins.
§    Mix well and make sure you cook it in low heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
§    Add Khurma, chirongi beans, cardamom powder and rose water and simmer for 2 more minutes.
§    Turn off the fire stove and lift the Sheer Khurma.
§    The menu is delicious when served hot or cold, to your taste.
§    Finally decorate with cardamom powder before serving.
